Whenever I am in SF, I make sure I do at least one session of Naked Yoga. My first class was with Darren Main in 2006.
As someone who is somewhat of a wallflower, I was very nervous and apprehensive that first time and am still not 100% comfortable with my nude body in front of others until ten or so minutes into the class and then I eventually get over myself.
All of the instructors are very professional and all of the guys I have met in the classes are nothing but kind and supportive. When everyone is naked, it seems to bring everyone’s guard and walls down.
There are men in the classes of all different shapes, sizes, colors, backgrounds, and with varying degrees of yoga experience. Nobody will judge your body or the amount of yoga experience you have (except maybe yourself). I recommend everyone try Naked Yoga SF at least once. -Brian A.

Ken has practiced yoga for over 10 years and became certified with Yoga Alliance as a RYT-200 after graduating from Yoga Tree’s YogaTeacher Training program in 2006. Yoga Alliance has recognized him as a ERYT-200/RYT-500 as he completed his Yoga Therapy training at Ananda Seva Mission in July 2010. Ken has been leading a Naked Men’s class here at the SUN ROOM since 2007. Ken teaches Naked Men’s Yoga on Tuesdays at 7:45 p.m and is honored to be covering Sundays at 6:00pm while Darren is adjusting to fatherhood. Ken’s Vinyasa Flow class is for all levels! In his classes, Ken provides eclectic Non-denominational Hatha yoga guidance, honoring a variety of traditions, such as Iyengar alignment principles, invigorating Kudalini Kriya, and playful Acroyoga-inspired partner work. He invites you to embrace SIMPLICITY, PATIENCE and COMPASSION as you deepen your practice and your connection with your true Self. Ken offers Yoga Therapy workshops on a variety of topics such as restorative yoga, grief, relationships, stress management and coping with chronic illness. In addition to yoga, Ken also serves as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, psychotherapist and clinical supervisor. "Restorative yoga with Peter is an extremely relaxing, calming, and self nurturing experience. Unlike a typical flow class, which can pump up the volume and work you out in a sweaty series of asanas, Peter's restorative class allows you to go inside and relax deeply, holding poses using various props for a more prolonged period of time. When you want to learn yoga the right way, you need a great teacher! Attending one of Ken's classes not only benefits you physically but mentally and spiritually as well. Ken has a wonderful, fun, challenging sense of humor and knows how to teach a mixed level class. He has great intuition on helping everyone regardless of level, always walking around the room checking and helping. His partner and or circle pose's are a lot of fun and let you connect with others.
