Class Descriptions
We have something for everyone.
Afterglow (Wednesdays)
This mixed-levels intro to vinyasa class is inspired by the Ashtanga-based “Rocket Yoga” practice taught at AstaYoga, our host studio — but transformed into a gentle candlelight flow. New students will be welcomed to the group and invited to warm up with a partner (or two).
Connecting breath with movement, we then begin our sequence with Sun Salutations, followed by standing postures, balancing postures, seated postures, supine postures, backbends, and inversions. Everything is optional, and modifications are encouraged.
Beginners will be thrilled they can do it. Seasoned practitioners will find the practice consistent, rigorous and fulfilling.

Freedom Flow (Fridays)
Freedom Flow is a Fabulous, Flexible and Fun class that will make your Fridays feel Fantastic.
We will incorporate partner work, take time to Focus on Fundamentals, and Flow Freely in our bodies and minds.
The sequence may vary from week to week, allowing us to get out of our habitual movement patterns while moving safely and smoothly through the postures.
As always, our breath will be our guide.
First-timers Fear not! It’s Fun for all!
Bring a Friend. Find a Friend. Be a Friend.
We often end with guided massage.
Santosha (Sundays)
COMING IN AUGUST
Blocks, bolsters and blankets, oh my!
Guided by the yogic concept of Santosha -- meaning "contentment," or the practice of finding peace and gratitude in the present moment -- this accessible, glacial-paced, grounding class will be a time to breathe quietly, unwind, release comparison culture, and embrace the "enoughness" of you.
Come try to sit still with us.

Slow Flow + Yin (Mondays)
We start with a gentle Hatha Yoga based warmup, moving together through a series of postures at a slow and relaxed pace, with a focus on alignment, navigating pain, and injury prevention.
We then slow down even more and enter into the world of Yin Yoga. Have a conversation with gravity. You’ll be guided into postures that you will hold for longer periods of time, allowing gravity to work on the connective tissues and even the bones.
